Many places have these rules not for good people, but because you cannot control the contents of something that comes from outside and avoid fines or personal demands.
The one that knows of poblano cemitas ... knows that it is with quesillo not with another cheese like the mozzarella that they put to him
7 to 8 dollars
The best tortas in town. A+
A great hole-in-the-wall restaurant. This place gets packed at lunchtime, and for good reason! The sandwiches are big, messy, filling, and delicious.
Food was awesome but the ladies there are ZERO FRIENDLY
Place has good value for what you get. My wife and I share 1 sandwich with double meat and a drink for around $14. Place can get busy and then there is no place to sit since they only have 3 booths, so its best to call ahead. We live close so we just go back home and enjoy our meal.
I loved the cemitas de pollo adobado!! Pricey but worth it.
The cemitas were pretty darn good. Its a bit pricey though. Small tables for around 8-10 ppl max inside and quick service. I dont know what vegetable it is they put in the cemitas but it tastes very good. I randomly stumbled upon this hole in the wall and can vouch that its pretty comparable to Tortas Chingonas. Ill be back
The best. Every time im around the valley, i have to make sure i stop by. I live in Santa Barbara. No other place like this. Good customer service too. The ladies there are helpful, check ur order before u leave and its always delicious. I have never been disappointed.
If you love tortas this is the place to go... No doubt about it... Giant huge @$$ tortas... Flavor well done
The best cemitas in Los angeles great taste and really big size it gets you full the restaurant is small but it's always clean
Great sandwiches! Small no frills spot. Best to order food "to go"
Better come with an appetite, the food here is always fresh and plenty of options to choose from.
simply delicious
I love this place. A friend introduced me to Don Adrian's a few years back and every few months I get a craving for their cemitas. I pretty much have a standard order; a barbacoa cemita and a fish cemita. I like them best with the jalapeno and string cheese. It's a small store with 3 benches so we usually don't eat there. If you pay with a card there's a small fee so if that's an issue bring cash. The cemitas are about $10 each. If you pay by card, there is no way to add a tip so be aware. I highly recommend Don Adrian's.
Freshly cooked food. Tasty.
Great food fair prices.
Great place for some quick lunch! Every part of the sandwich was good including the bun, the meat(I got marinated beef, my girlfriend got marinated chicken). The food comes out very quickly. They were having issues with the credit card machine when I was there, and altought it ended up going through, I'd bring a $20 just to be sure. There is parking in front of the store, and there's a lot of street parking in the area.
Tortas are huge , and there so delicious , Puebla Mexico style so fresh ,so good lots of flavor, the best one I ever had , can share with someone and they have some many options even a veggie one .
Excellent .they have GF and Vegan love it.
One of the best cemitas you can taste.
Great place
I love the way the make cemitas..
Best cemitas in the city!! Always friendly staff!!
This place is wonderful... It was the best I've ever tasted.
Very good. They need a placer bigger.
I like the way they toast the bread very crunchy and the flavor and lots of avocado on every cemita the best!
Small places are always the best. Great options to choose from.
Been coming here for years and it's always really good. Get the cecina adobado con quesillo y jalapeno and get the green salsa if you don't know what to get I promise you won't be disappointed!
Food good space is tiny hate cramped food places only reason i gave 4
A Cemita is a Torta (Mexican sandwich) with attitude. Traditionally served without meat, the better to complete your sandwich with freshly grilled meats from food vendors, they are a tradition of the Southern Mexican State of Puebla. You can get a "Traditional" which is a great lacto-vegetarian meal, or get yours with any number of meats featured. I have had Pollo Adobada, which is marinated grilled chicken, Milanesa de Pollo which is fried chicken, and the surprisingly good grilled salmon. Everything is fresh here. And Mexican Futbol (Soccer) matches are always on. Suggestion, BYO Swiss army knife if you have kids or light eaters, they don't cut these huge sandwiches in two for you.
They were pretty expensive, thought they were pretty big with a good amount meat. We got the shredded chicken option and it was very good! The bread, which is what differs it from a torta, was very good! The texture, the flavor it was very delicious. I just have one complaint, they charge you extra if you get jalapeños! Dividing up the cost like that is not cool, just like the people that charge for getting salsa. If I'm paying $22 for two tortas that one can definitely make at home and taking them to go......I would not want to pay extra for the canned jalapeños.
Absolutely wonderful authentic mexican sandwiches known as "cemitas". This tiny restaurant is one of the best in LA hands down highly recommend the milanesa cemita with chipotle
Barbacoa CemitaThis place is absolutely delicious! I promise you you'll love this place. It's a hole in the wall, but in my opinion these are the best and authentic places
It was good definitely come when your hungry it's a big torta! I mean (cemita) lol
Great food!
Awesome food... love it.. the cashiers are friendly & I always get my foo right
Very tasty tortas
Tried the #7 cemita de res. And it was delicious. The place is very small there is only 5 tables that seat 4 at a time. Service is fast and venue is rather clean. No bathroom. No wheelchair access.
The food was amazing definitely going back again :)
Delicious and authentic Puebla style cemitas.
Cemitas the best Mexican burguers
Oh my goodness gracious, these sandwiches are SO SO SO GOOD!!! They are gigantic--they have like an entire avocado in them! And luckily, they hold up surprisingly well, so when you have meal #2 out of this sandwich, you're not trying to slurp up a soppy sandwich. Definitely spring for the cheese upgrade, it goes perfectly with their juicy and flavourful-as-heck fillings. And plan on taking this flying saucer of a sandwich to go because the place is tiny... Hey, what they lack in restaurant space, they more than make up in sandwich size.
10/10. Hidden gem of the valley. Best cemitas I had. I stop by everytime I am in town and order 2 cemitas. Love this place
I often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are tasty and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. always when we visit this place we enjoy a cheerful time. highly recommended.
Where do I begin, oh lord this place is sooooo delicious!!! Its pricey like 8$ per order or more but the quality is wonderful so i am willing to pay that much
IT was an amazing flavorAnda the cemitas are hugeI Will Go again
Exceptional. If you love torta fillings but hate torta bread, try this. The bread is amazing, the fillings are super tasty. Get the string cheese!
